Your Guide To Planting in the Fall

Nothing says fall like football, pumpkin spice and planting native seed!

The optimal seeding window for our native seed mixes, packets and individual species opens up in late fall when soil temps are below 50 degrees. This is usually around late November (think Thanksgiving). You can sow native seed all late fall and winter long...even into a little bit of snow! This time of year is great to start prepping the area you want to seed.
