Allium cernuum - Nodding Wild Onion

Never did a name mean so much on a plant. Pretty pink flowers nod towards the ground and the whole plant gives off an onion scent. Nonetheless, it is an important pollinator plant and attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.

With full sun, this perennial will reach 1 to 3 feet and blooms anywhere from June through August and prefers moist soil.
