A pointy looking petal gives Sawtooth Sunflower its name, but that doesn't distract from its beauty! Really a one size fits all plant, songbirds eat the seeds,it is a pollen source for honeybees, bumblebees and other species of native bees and a larval host for the Checkerspot Butterfly.

Blooms begin to show in August through November and this perennial prefers full sun and moist soil. A taller flower, it will grow anywhere from 3 to 6 feet tall.
