By customer request, we've added Peredovik Sunflowers to our Prairie Companions. These bright yellow flowers are annuals that typically germinate and flower in the same growing season. Plant these in full sun in late spring or early summer. Finished heights will be about 3 to 5 feet.

Some things to remember:

These seeds will need to be planted approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch deep. We recommend seeding these separately from your native grass and wildflower seeds since those need to be planted more shallowly.

Peredovik Sunflowers are great for song birds and game birds.

Plant these seeds as privacy border, around vegetable gardens or as a border garden along a native planting.

Seed Info

A seed envelope will contain approximately 0.02 ounces of seed and cover about 5 to 10 square feet.

An ounce of seed will cover approximately 50 square feet.
