Stiff Goldenrod is a native perennial wildflower growing to a height of around 3 to 4 feet. It has an erect reddish unbranched stem.
The inflorescence is a grouping of branched clusters, large for the size of the plant, that is somewhat flat-topped and to 10" wide.
An important pollinator species.
Generally found east of the Rocky mountains to the east coast of the United States and in eastern Canada.
