Autumn Bentgrass is a native grass that grows in clumps. It reaches heights of 1 to 3 feet and prefers partial shade, making it perfect for woodland edges or garden beds to add interest and help stabilize soils.
How To Plant Autumn Bentgrass Seeds:
Direct sow seeds into prepared soil in late fall once soil temps are below 50 degrees (usually mid to late November). Can also be planted in winter during natural freeze / thaw cycles and early spring. Plant shallow, no deeper than 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep and lightly rake to work seed in. Plant in partial shade. Can take 3 growing seasons to fully establish.
