Tall Dropseed and Prairie Dropseed are in the same genus but Tall Dropseed differs with its tall stalk. It prefers mesic soil with full sun and does well in areas with minor disturbances (i.e. infrequent mowing and occasional prescribed burns).
Look for the perennial to reach its full potential August through October.
Seed Envelopes contain approximately 0.02 ounces of seed and cover about 5 to 10 square feet.
