Each project is unique, and we know that sometimes you have questions that just can't be answered with general instructions. That is why we will talk, email or text with you to find out as much as possible about your project to make thoughtful recommendations. That can mean emailing or texting photos to see your site or scheduling a phone call to thoroughly go over the process.

Thoughtful Seed Mix Design
Designing native seed mixes is an art. There are numerous factors to every seed mix we design: scientific, aesthetic, sunlight, hydrology, budgetary and more! Some seeds only grow in certain areas, some have one million seeds per ounce and others only have one hundred. Some require long stratification times and others none. Before a native seed mix makes it's way to our site, we take our time and thoughtfully consider all these factors during the design process. The result is a high quality, balanced seed mix that allows all the species in the mix to grow cohesively together.
Small Batch Blends
Since some of our native seed mixes can have upwards of fifty species, blending these mixes at the time of order is the only way to ensure you are getting exactly what is in the mix design. The range of seed shapes, densities and sizes make it impossible to blend in large batches and provide an accurate representation of the seeds in the mix. All native seed mix orders 1/10th acre and up are constructed species by species to the designed amount and mixed thoroughly. For our seed packets, we build 1 PLS Lb. at a time and put them into packages.
No Fancy Packaging
It's what's on the inside that counts! No fancy graphics or high-priced packaging for us. We use durable and simple packaging that protects your seed, assure it arrives in good condition and helps keep the cost down.
