Soft-stemmed bulrush has a very weak stem thus giving it its name. It reaches heights anywhere from 3 to 6 feet and prefers full sun. This perennial will do well in wet soil to standing water and is excellent for erosion control during habitat reconstruction.
Waterbirds find this useful for nesting cover.
