This native seed mix contains lots of brightly colored flowers for pollinators, a few native grasses for structure and habitat and is designed to bloom spring through fall once established. The ONPM Tall Pollinator Garden Seed Mix is the taller sibling to our ONPM Short Pollinator Garden Seed Mix and contains species like Sweet Joe Pye, Compass Plant and White Wild Indigo that add height and interest to pollinator gardens. Plant this one if you're not afraid to let these plants get a little wild! This native seed mix typically grows between 3 to 7 feet tall.
We sing praises about native grasses and wildflowers everyday and now we're shouting from the heart of the prairie because Ohio is one of the first states in the country to have an entire month dedicated to native plants. We thank our friends Nancy Linz and Hope Taft for working so hard to get this passed into law and trusting us to create a mix that supports birds, insects and wildlife, creates forarging for pollinators and has an overall positive impact on the environment.
Please note: this mix formerly known as the Ohio Native Plant Month Seed Mix
You can learn more about Ohio Native Plant Month here. For every Ohio Native Plant Month mix or packet sold, OPN Seed will donate a portion back to the ONPM initiative.
